[IRCA] TP Nov 5, 2012 / Victoria version

Livelier this morning, with signs of second tier stations.

(a note: this didn't make it through due to e-mail problems, but as it is slightly more interesting than this morning's DX, I thought I'd send it along for historical interest)

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

747 JOIB man and woman in JJ //774 at 1442UT
972 HLCA man in KK with another man "uh-hum"ing from time to time; 1443UT

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 man singing, recognizably JJ 1449UT
774 man and woman in JJ at 1441UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

702 NHK2 synchros. Woman in JJ //774 at 1453UT
828 JOBB man in JJ //774 1456UT
1566 man singing, presumably HLAZ, 1459UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

567 man talking at 1509UT, no // available
603 woman talking 1456UT, too weak for any guesses.
639 man mumbling at 1448, but the cadence seemed //6175; first time for awhile for CNR1 891 JOHK? woman talking 1457UT, distinctive high pitched JJ style, seemed //594 which was rather weak itself at this time.
945 CNR1. man talking //6125
1017 CRI. woman talking 1449UT then man. //5965
1287 man talking 1439; JOHR?
1323 CRI?? man talking at 1506UT, could have been //5990, not audible at the same time unfortunately;
1575 man talking 1440UT VoA?

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

558, 756, 846, 864, 1098w/SAH, 1242

best wishes,

Nick
