[IRCA] October AM loggings

  530  CIAO  ON Brampton - 10/21 2200 - Fair, over Cuba's Radio Enciclopedia with start of ID: "This is Ciao (pronounced "chow")...", then lost to splatter from KWMT/CBK.  First heard from Iowa City back on 1/10/1995, and I struggled a lot back then over whether or not to count this as a new logging since all it essentially did was take over CJFT's spot on the dial.  After giving it much thought, I finally did.  (RD-IA)  
 
  980  CFPL  ON London - 10/21 1951 - Atop with ad for California Spa & Fitness located on Exeter Road in London, then "AM 980" ID.  Not heard from Iowa City since the early 1990s!  (RD-IA)
 
1100  WZFG  MN Dilworth - 10/21 1905 - Good in WTAM null with "AM 1100 The Flag" ID, then into pre-recorded Fargo-Moorhead weather forecast.  First new Minnesota AM logging here since WKLK-1230 on 2/5/2001.  (RD-IA) 
 
1150  KASM  MN Albany - 10/31 1826 - Fair to good w/political ad for Jeff Howe for District 13 in Minnesota House of Representatives, ad for Albany Chrysler Dodge-Jeep-Ram, then CLs heard in promo for high school basketball coverage.  Polka music (a mainstay of KASM's programming) noted a few minutes later.  Not new, but not common here, either.  (RD-NE)  
 
1160  KCTE  MO Cleveland - 10/21 1924 - Very good with talk in SS, local ads, 816 area code # in spot for auto body shop.  (RD-IA) 
 
1450  KQYX  KS Galena - 10/25 2259 - Atop with conclusion of Jasper Eagles vs. McAuley Catholic Warriors high school football, ID as "1450 The Score", then ad for business that had locations in Webb City, Carthage, and Lamar.  First new AM logging from South Omaha in over 4 1/2 months.  (RD-NE)
 
1560  KGOW  TX Bellaire - 10/22 0748 - LOUD with ad for Texas Citizens Bank, then back into programming from Yahoo Sports Radio.  No sign of WPAD at all.  (RD-IA)
 
1610  CHHA  ON Toronto - 10/22 0217 - Atop with 416 area code # heard in SS ad for local family services agency.  (RD-IA) 
 
1630  KCJJ  IA Iowa City - 10/21 0720 - Fair with The Buckinghams' "Kind Of A Drag", then "the Mighty 1630 KCJJ" ID heard in chatter from DJ Billy Suter (pronounced "suitor") during his Sunday morning oldies program.  (RD-IN)
 
1640  KFXY  OK Enid - 10/21 1931 - Fair under WKSH with Southern Gospel music from a group called the Isaacs, then "Faith 1640" ID.  Music format seemed to be off satellite, not live.  (RD-IA) 
 
1690  CHTO  ON Toronto - 10/22 0224 - Overtaking WVON at times with Greek music, featuring the easily recognizable sound of the main stringed instrument, the Bouzouki.  (RD-IA)
