[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-26

Hello All,

This morning there was a slight improvement in Asiatic TP reception compared to yesterday, mainly because of a mediocre sunrise enhancement that brought several big gun TP's up to anemic levels. At 1305 the band sounded very much like yesterday's as the Korean big guns on 972, 1053 and 1566 were in and out with poor audio, and 1575-VOA was making a weak appearance. Around 1335 these stations (and all other TP carriers) slid down into the noise in unison, only to be somewhat rejuvenated around 1355 as sunrise approached. During this period many big guns (594, 603, 639, 657, 693, 972, 1053, 1566 and 1575) managed poor audio intermittently, but none of them ever came up to a decent level before I needed to cut the session short at 1410. Best audio during the lackluster morning was from 603-Hulun Buir just before the 1400 TOH-- not so much because of its signal strength, but because its completely clear frequency made the poor Chinese OM speech easier to hear than the splatter-c!
overed signals from the anemic TP's on other frequencies. After evaluating the TP-DXing results this past week, I certainly agree with Bruce that this year's Fall Season seems to be heading for a premature demise. The same big guns are in and out with weak audio, and even they are becoming tricky to find in strength.
