[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Tuesday, 10/02/2012

Very strange conditions this morning. Two Russian long waves in at 1025 utc. They vanished after the last reception at 1029 utc. No MW TP stations above 1382 kHz. HLKC caught for a few 5 minutes with a fair signal then dropped out. 4RN 792 in briefly with nearly a good signal at 1357 and then vanished. Around 1330 all signals attenuated here. KGO 810 usually a S9+20db on the NW ewe dropped to S-4. Listened from 1025-1423 utc off and on. During this period the K increased from 1 to 2. Maybe it's still rising?  JOUB 774 still around at 1422 with weak fading signal. Will be interesting to read what other fellows heard this morning.

279   RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1025-1029 very weak signal rising to fair signal with man in Russian. NW ewe. 10/02/2012

594   JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1047 fair signal with woman in Japanese. Good at 1353 with man in Japanese with piano music in back ground. Arm chair level at 1402. NW ewe. 10/02/2012

666   JAPAN, JOBK, NHK1 1404 fair signal // 594. NW ewe. 10/02/2012

693   JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1307 fair signal with moderate splatter. // 828,774. Good at 1401. NW ewe. 10/02/2012

774   JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1034 good signal with man in Japanese. Best on NW ewe, also heard on other 3 antennas. 10/02/2012

792   Australia, 4RN ABC 1357 fair to nearly good signal with Arab music on the "Daily Planet" show. Matched live stream. W-SW ewe. 010/02/2012

828   JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1037 fair signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 10/02/2012

1134  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLKC 1335-1340 fast talking woman in Korean. Fair signal at times when not battered in splatter. Same program heard on 09/02/2012 from 1312-1317. NW ewe. 10/02/2012

1382  JAPAN, JO?? NHK2 1410 weak signal and // 774. NW ewe. 10/02/2012
