Re: [IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-21 a Victoria perspective

As often the case, no time for a detailed report, but I confirm Gary's
findings for Victoria, BC. No sign virtually of any DU activity,
except a weak 891. Otherwise the Asiatic big guns were all there,
often with very nice signal strength. Once again 1323 CRI Russian was
present often with very nice signal strength, virtually on-par with
the JJ big guys on 594, 747, especially 774, and 828. HLAZ back at
good levels on 1566. Top to bottom, signals all over. A very decent
Asiatic TP morning. 73, Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC

The Japanese big guns were still down a little in strength, but the Korean big guns (on 972, 1053 and 1566 kHz) were vibrant indeed, and had the best TP signals of the morning. There was fair reception of the Chinese big guns on 603, 639, 936 and 1044 kHz (although below their typical signal levels) and also 738-BEL2 in Taiwan. At 1313 UTC I apparently heard the same 1566-HLAZ fade-in that Dennis noticed at 1314, and was able to make a recording of the Korean FEBC station's Japanese Christian drama program.
