Another pretty good morning, with a few more "first of the season" 
appearances.   But almost all signals were below 900kHz, were quite 
erratic in strength, and domestic splash seemed quite heavy.  LWBC 
was also absent here today.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK at 1328UT.  JJ pop mx fading up to excited talk by two men; 
sounded like a commercial station
774 JOUB man w/wx in JJ 1313UT; I think this would be a wonderful 
broadcast to meditate to, with its somnolent and repetitious 
announcer.  Also good strength at 1326 w/man in JJ, a little livelier
1566 HLAZ hymn at 1340 briefly good


reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK man talking w/enthusiasm in JJ //594 at 1328UT
747 JOIB man w/wx broadcast at 1315
972 HLCA female vocal mx briefly fair at 1323

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

639 CNR-1 woman in CC //6125, 1324UT; first time this season
828 JOBB wx broadcast at 1302UT.  This may have been stronger this 
morning, but not when I was listening.
1053 KK jammer peaking at 1316UT


Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

576 Mayak? at  1329UT.  Woman then man talking, quite weak, w/RR 
inflection to my ears
603 light mx at 1326UT, very weak, but a big carrier
612 man talking at 1333UT, could have been 4QR by 
inflection.  Certainly not //567
693 JOAB man talking in JJ //774 at 1332UT, u/690 splash.  First time 
this season
702 NHK2; JJ talk by man //774 at 1331, but two minutes earlier, 
another man talking not //774. First time this season
864 slow ballad mixing w/talk w/JJ inflection, at 1338UT
873 JOGB distinctive wx forecast //774 at 1318, first time this season
891 JOHK  general JJ jollification by men //594 at 1336UT, trading 
places w/another station w/mx



Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

558, 738, 1008, 1242, 1314, 1575
