Russian long wave stations again this morning with static crashes. MW TP's weak this morning with the exception of HLAZ 1566 which has been the most consistent TP this month. Aussie's with audio on the upper channels. 2BS believed to be the station with Oldies on 1503 kHz and 1701 kHz late this morning with Hindi chanting and a station with a POP rock song heard during a fading period for XEPE. 1701 kHz better signals the Sky wire loop, but also more splatter from XEPE with using this antenna. Gary's probably has about 25 minutes of DX left on the Oregon Coast.
153 RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1144-1147 good signal with woman in Russian followed by man in Russian. A lot of static.
Still good at 1206 with Radio Rossii ID.
180 RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1148 fair signal with man in Russian and static.
189 RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1208 very weak signal with man in Russian on second scan of long wave band.
279 RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1150 weak signal with man in Russian. Far less static than lower channels. Far signal at 1256 with American Blues music.
594 JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1315 steady with signal with woman/man in Japanese. NW ewe.
738 RUSSIA, Radio Polynesie 1250-1251 weak with man/woman in French. Sky wire loop.
747 JAPAN, JOIK NHK2 1220-1223 very weak signal with man in Japanese with heavy splatter. NW ewe.
774 JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1226 weak signal briefly with woman in Japanese and heavy splatter. NW ewe.
828 JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1236-1238 poor signal briefly with man in Japanese. NW ewe. Fair at 1317.
1053 REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1245 jammer in briefly with weak signal and soon faded. NW ewe.
1503 AUSTRALIA, 2BS Gold 1208 believed the station playing the Beach Boy song "Kokomo". Followed by "Nothing But A Heartache". Woman announcer in English between songs. Best on SW ewe.
1548 UNKNOWN, 1257-1300 weak signal in unknown language. A lot of splatter from KKOV. Best on NW ewe. Been hearing a decent het recently on 1548. Woman announcer at 1304, ESSC mode helped some with splatter.
1566 REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1159-1204 good signal with women singing religious hymns. Singing when through the TOH.
Fair at 1319 with religious music. NW ewe.
1701 AUSTRALIA, 1233 weak audio with a fading XEPE. Man talking in ? briefly for a few seconds. SW ewe. Sky wire loop at 1335 brings in better audio and two signals. One station with Hindi singing and other with
pop type music. 1338 XEPE signal flares up some, but the two Aussie signals are very weak. Signals
faded out at 1339 with increasing XEPE splatter.
