[IRCA] MAR 9-10 summary

Navtex on the Drake R8B, with SEATTY software to decode it.
Recent Receptions
KBOI at 0338 is difficult, very weak code and none of it in serial order,
mostly "OI" noted. Noting heard at 0308 or 0351 as others have reported.
The MAR 10 evening loggings are all auroral. This is from reviewing just 10
minutes of Perseus recordings, 2145-2154 EST. There are several more files
after this first one. Curiously as my drive got filled, the second file
gets a lot of noise and skipping towards the end, at 10:00 PM EST, ID time
naturally.
Just to show you the power of the Perseus - 15 new ones in one ten minute
stretch. Drawback is that it takes most of a day to go through it.
But well worth it - XEOL 910 and XEHR 1090 are real gems. As is, of course,
two receptions from Brazil.
Interesting that all my distant NDBs were so concentrated in GA. Lots of
groundwave NDBs from London, Erie, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Mohawk
Valley, which matches the MW receptions during that time. .
Oddity is WQTT 1270. Though some Pennsylvania statiosn were enhanced during
this time, too. WVTL 1570 is not one I would have expected, either.
