Another good morning here at the coast, but this morning it was DUs
DUsDUs for the most past. Per the report from Dennis, it did not sound
like it propagated inland though.

I got up a bit late, at 1355 and the dial was alive with signals.

531    JAPAN, Morioka JOQG good with man in JJ talk at 1358 9/26.

540    AUSTRALIA, Longreach 4QL into ABC fanfare at 1400 with ABC News,
on top of JJ 9/26 (PM-OR)
549    AUSTRALIA, Orange 2CR ABC News 1401 9/26 in passing (PM-OR)
558    JAPAN, Kobe JOCR good on top of KK with JJ Pop music at 1403 9/26

567    JAPAN, Sapporo JOIK mixing with presumed a DU with EE talk in
passing 1402 9/26 (PM-OR)
576    AUSTRALIA, 2RN 1404 with woman with news 9/26 in passing (PM-OR)
585    JAPAN, Kushiro, JOPG very good with man in JJ at 1404 9/26 in
passing. (PM-OR)
594     JAPAN, Tokyo JOAK very good as it has been with NHK News in JJ
at 1404 9/26. Noted at S9+5. (PM-OR)
603    UNIDS, jumble of garbled signals, one sounded CC, but could not
make out much, even at several re-trys, noted one tim at 1406 9/26

648    UNIDS, garbled mess in splatter of several signals, one sounded
like Tamworth NSW with a woman in Australian EE at 1406 9/26 (PM-OR)
657    DEM KOREA, Good and man with typical arrogant sounding voice at
1415 9/26 (PM-OR)
666     JAPAN, Osaka JOBK good with man in JJ at 1411 9/26 (PM-OR)
675     VIETNAM/UNIDs, another jumble of signals in KNBR splatter, but
woman in Vietnamese surfaced, but poor compared to last week. Noted at
1408 9/26 (PM-OR)
684     UNID, station in KNBR splatter at 1412 9/26. (PM-OR)
693     JAPAN, Tokyo JOAB, good and S9+ at 1410 9/26 with man in JJ.

720     HAWAII, Ele'ele KUAI very good with Hawaiian pop music noted at
1415 9/26, Hawaiian accented man with time check. (PM-OR)
729    JAPAN, Nagoya JOCK fair at 1416 9/26, man in JJ in passing.

765    UNIDs, several weak signals here, one was JJ, but the others too

774     JAPAN, Akita, JOUB, the best of the powerhouses this morning,
JOUB was peaking at S9+10, totally good in 6 kHz bandwidth. Also noted
on the PL-380 fair. (PM-OR)
783    PHILIPPINES?  Another garbled channel, but one weak signal
sounded Tagalog, but too weak to tell much more at 1421 9/26 (PM-OR)
729    AUSTRALIA, Brisbane 4RN 9/26 1423 with news discussion by woman.

801    OPEN CARRIER, noted this morning at 1425, presume Guam 9/26

828    JAPAN, Osaka JOBB fair to good with light splatter from KSWB,
which normally is not an issue that far away, but CX were fairly DU this
morning giving the signals from the South quite the boost at 1426 9/26

855    AUSTRALIA, noted here in passing with accented man at 1431 9/26

864   JAPAN, ETC  JJ Talk at 1431 9/26, other several Unids. (PM-OR)
873    JAPAN, Kumamoto, JOGB man in JJ at 1430 9/28. (PM-OR)
882    UNIDs, several weak signals here, but nothing understandable at
1428 9/26 (PM-OR)
891    THAILAND, the first station I checked at 1358 9/26 and yes the
beautiful Thai music was there, but being tore up by Japan and 5AN, not
nearly as strong s last weak. But at least it was there. (PM-OR)
909    UNID, sounded JJ, but too weak to tell fo sure at 1433 9/26

954    JAPAN, Tokyo JOKR, good with slight KJR splatter, man in JJ at
1435 9/26 (PM-OR)
963    CHINA, CRI fair with RR service noted with man in Russian at 1440
9/26 (PM-OR)
972    REP KOREA, fair with man in KK at 1435 9/26 (PM-OR)
981    CHINA, fair with woman in Chinese at 1441 (PM-OR)
1008   JAPAN, Nagoya JONR, good with Japanese pop music noted at 1438
9/26 (PM-OR)
1017   UNIDs, several stations here at 1439 9/26, fading out as it was
getting more daylight. (PM-OR)
1026   UNIDs, as above, too weak to tell, one may have been DZAR, a
there was a man in what sounded like Tagalog in there at 1444 9/26

I pretty much gave up, as the atmospheric noise level was increasing
with an approaching Pacific storm, but too bad I did not get up a bit
earlier this morning.
