I heard the 180 once from western NY.  Very poor signal. I even got a QSL 
for it.  Stations from Turkey have a much reduced schedule these days.  Off 
at 1600 as I recall.  Not sure why - saving power?  More reliant on FM?

At Cappahayden NF each November we used to hear 180, 1017, 954.  But it's 
been a long time since these were heard.

I've been very fortunate to hear Turkey on 180 KHz during the Ramadan of
2008 (Sept 21 actually @ 23:43 UTC). Except for a carrier at a het
strength on a very few occasions, I never heard it again (nor I saw any
carrier). On the following clip, there's a woman in Turkish then music:
