Long-wave band with a lot of noise this morning.  MW Japanese present, but not strong
and DU at sunrise.  Prime time seems to be from 1330 to Sunrise, anything earlier seems
a waste of time for MW listening.

153        RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1248-1256 fair to weak with music and talk.
189        RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1257 fair with music.
279        RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1258 fair, man with Radio Rossii ID.
558        AUSTRALIA? 1356-1359 pop song seemed to be in English, very weak signal.
594        JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1328 weak signal with man/woman in Japanese.
603        REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA very weak with a lot of splatter.
657        DPR OF KOREA, 1332 fair with woman in Korean and // 3250.
657        Carrier under DPRK with no audio.  Southern Stat?
666        JAPAN, JOBK, 1334 weak with man in Japanese.
693        JAPAN, JOAB 1336 raise from weak signal to fair with Chinese lessons?
774        JAPAN, JOUB 1318-1321 carrier to weak audio with woman in Japanese.
             Good at 1340.
828        JAPAN, JOBB 1322 1324 very weak at times with woman in Japanese.  Fair 1341.
             1400 "Welcome to the ? " heard after time pips, fair signal.
846        UNKNOWN, 1342 two carriers, neither with audio.
972        REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLCA weak audio, but covered in KUFO splatter.
1098      MARSHALL ISLAND? V7AB 1404 solid S-6 with no audio.  Seems they sign-off
             at 1130 utc and leave carrier on?
1116      AUSTRALIA? 1408 weak with man talking, soon faded.
1134      JAPAN, JOQR? 1348 believed to be the station with weak audio and a ton of splatter.
1287      JAPAN, JOHR 1349-1350 from carrier to fair signal with woman/man in Japanese.
1566      REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1305-1311 weak audio at 1311 with woman
             in Japanese.
