770 in Valdez could go to 50KW too probably
There's one big reason Alaskan AMs aren't rushing to increase power,
even when they could: the cost of power for transmitters is insane up
there. We're accustomed to paying somewhere between 7 and 20 cents per
kilowatt-hour here in the lower 48; it can easily cost four to five
times that much on the Last Frontier, especially if stations have to
generate their own in remote places like Nome.
