[IRCA] Final report from Honolulu, HI for 6/7 Dec, 2010

A brief report for Dec 6 and 7th from Honolulu. Spent the day at Pearl Harbor yesterday, and as always a very moving experience.  Definitely a must do when in Honolulu.
As for the radio, on both mornings, I monitored for just a few minutes and rather late, so not much to report, but here goes:

Dec 6, 2010:  16:48 to 17:02 UTC.  Overall, quite poor.

612:  poor
630:  poor/fair
738:  poor
1116:  fair
1143:  poor
1170:  poor
1332:  poor
1575:  poor

Dec 7, 2010:  16:40 to 16:54.  Somewhat better morning, especially the upper half of the band.

972:  poor
1116:  fair only today.
1170:  fair, pres. VOA Poro
1242:  poor
1332:  fair to good with a talk-in show at 16:45 with DU accented EE.  So most likely Radio Sport from Auckland.  Best of the bunch this morning!
1575:  poor to fair

Well, that's it for my two weeks in Kauai and Honolulu.  73s to everyone, and best of the upcoming season (plenty of All Christmas, all the time on the local radio scene here!).......Walt
