[IRCA] 930 Alaska

At 2100 hrs PST in Nanaimo BC, scanning with my analog Sony ULR assisted by the vertical section of an aluminum window frame I managed to snag my first Alaskan with IDing as More Hits on 930 KIKN Ketchikan (1000 night watts)and into ABC news under a much stronger CJCA Edmonton doing a religion program.Unfortunately the little receiver couldn't keep its tuning performance normal with the boost from the metal and went into convulsions with IF images and produced loud whistles on most midband spots.Bill in BC
