[IRCA] Pre Sunset skip

KFI 640 Los Angeles has been dropping in stronger than normal for short spans between 4 and 5 pm PST and ahead of any sign of Belgrade, Montana on 640 before it powers down now to 1 Kw ( a previous daytimer only) and during a KXL Portland fade out,KERR in Polson Montana provided a number of minutes of nice old classic country before dropping back and going under Portland again.Several others like KSL,KKOH, KGO, etc have been in as early as 2pm PST.and then pulling back until it gets dark.I guess these abnormal activities occur due to terminator shift and if I'm correct with the direction of the dusk terminator it almost parallels the whole west coast from Mexico to Alaska and so LOS in LA happens before or approx at the same time as BC. Am I making sense here or is there something else happening?. Comments welcome.Bill in BC
