TP signals were better, and different, this morning.
Receiver: Modified Tecsun PL-310 with 7.5-inch loopstick. Local sunrise at 1309 UTC.
594 JOAK Tokyo J, 1241-1326, fair.
693 JOAB Tokyo J, 1245-1319, fair; het fading away at 1317.
702 unID, 1223, weak het.
774 JOUB Akita J, 1214-1322, fair.
828 JOBB Osaka J, 1231, strong het; 1307, man JJ, poor.
873 JOGB Kumamoto J, 1304, man JJ, fair.
972 unID (HLCA?), 1211, weak het (QRM: KBUL 970); 1252, ear splitting het (QRM: XEJ 970).
1053 unID, 1255, weak carrier; 1310, barely audible talk, fading away at 1311.
1134 JOQR Tokyo J, 1257-1258, man JJ, poor.
1242 unID (JOLF?), 1309, weak het; 1316, fair het.
Signals seemed to benefit from a "sunrise lift" and with JOAB/JOAk.JOUB being heard later than before this fall. I wish I'd listened more closely to 1053 kHz. Overall, anytime I can hear Asian signals in Oklahoma is considered pretty good.
I hope the folks west of me have a good morning of TP DX.
