Re: [IRCA] Norway closing down remaining MW



At some point, AM broadcast will die, largely due to lack of listener interest. The vast majority of people in the US under the age of 40 don't listen to AM, and the majority of those are barely even aware of what is there. In Canada, the regulators are encouraging stations to migrate from AM to FM. The bigger questions are 1) when ? and 2) to be replaced by what ?

Not all of us may live to see it, but I think some of us here will.
