Re: [IRCA] Daylight Savings Time

That reminds me of a job I applied for which was about 60 miles away. At normal hours, the commute was never less than 90 minutes, sometimes 2 hours. At off-peak hours it could be done in about 75 minutes. Still a very ugly commute. I had plans to find a place to stay over two nights a week.

But, they weren't flexible enough to go for either off-hours or working from home a day or two a week, either of which were fine.

Now here's the irony. The job I got a few months later was 2 miles from home; then even when that office moved it was still less than 5. My current job is also 2 miles away, and now that I'm so close, I'm in a situation where I could work from home 2 or 3 days a week if I needed to. Go figure !
