[IRCA] Benin 1566

TA's aren't what they were during the fall but 'gems' can still be had.

Last night, while testing out a new VSPE/Perseus Recording Scheduler [PRS] config I made a TOH recording of the band at 0300utc with the Wellbrook array 'pointing' east.

Other than some slow-fade signals on 1431, 1512, 1521, 1548 and 1575 there wasn't much special until I got to 1566 where I found a pretty good carrier, a short guitar IS and English/French ID for TWR Benin:

This despite the Wellbrook array being buried in at least 30" of snow in various parts of our yard and the east element buried in a 4" hedge FULL of snow along our driveway -- including the base unit!  Amazing!

All this only works when/if you have power though ... which we didn't for about 12 hours on Saturday.
