[IRCA] 1040 wandering het

Gentleman, thank you all for your monitoring & thoughts on this little
enigma! I have not heard the het today (WED), either day or night. But I
think Barry nailed it. WJTB near Cleveland fits what I've observed for
signal strength (strong at night, weak during day -- I'm about 140 miles
from their QTH) and direction. If they leave their carrier on at night,
that's it. They sure could use some maintenance! Not only are they several
hundred hertz off-frequency, but that random frequency drift is pretty
entertaining. Guess they oughta replace that oscillator tube, or maybe try
using something innovative like a crystal with it!
