Again very poor TP conditions this morning, but a little unusual also. Listened at various times from 1440 to 1700UT. Just for laughs, I'll use the usual layout, so you can see how poor things were, but some of what was heard was comment worthy:
pretty darn good audio, at least briefly (all of it understandable by a native speaker)
not even remotely
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker,
though often battling w/splash or noise):
nope
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker
639 CNR-1 //5030 at 1502, children's choir
774 JOUB at 1528
972 HLCA likely at 1526, yet it seemed to be well modulated; dominant carrier was 972.0011kHz which is very close to the 972.0013 in the mwoffsets list; others were 972.9998 and 972.9994
1575 VoA, but not until much later....at 1700UT...w/Voice of America ID and Yankee Doodle.
1575 R. Farda at 1622UT; ID'd through webstream, dominant at this time, and was pretty stable for the next 10 or 15 minutes, weak but fairly clear
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
702, at 1437 w/mx and mumbled talk by woman, but didn't seem parallel to 774; didn't have a N. Korean sound or offset; on north Flag, so not 2BL
747 JOIB
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
756
best wishes,
Nick
