Hello All,
This morning's TP session would have been a clunker in October, but for
late November, it was probably the best one could hope for.
Signals were improved over yesterday (but that's not saying much).
594-JOAK was heard mixing with the UnID Chinese co-channel at 1510, the first time
the 594 kHz Chinese has been heard here in late November:

657-Pyongyang had a pretty strong warbling carrier from 1515-1530, with no
detectable audio (maybe that's not such a bad thing). 675-Vietnam also
had a decent signal (with audio) around this time, but no weak co-channels
could be heard because of the domestic splatter from 670 and 680 kHz.
As usual recently the high band was practically dead, with only two wispy
carriers from 1566 and 1575 during the entire 1510-1540 UTC monitoring
period. The usual low-band powerhouses like 603-HLSA and 639-CNR1 were
practically silent, and even JOIB-747 had difficulty staying in audio. So in
general the band seemed to be in transition to the winter doldrums, with a few
isolated surprises.
