Hi Chris;

I have no real issues like that with my Eton E100.  That is so weird!
During the day I get some mixing products 910 KHz removed from the
"parent" frequency (i.e. 1430 on 520).  If I place my Select-a-tenna
next to the radio, and peak it for the "product" frequency, the product
signals vanish.  That is the only issue and it's a known one but not
overloading.  

The only thing close to overloading is splatter from WNDE 1260 on their
day ND day rig. I am about 5 miles away from their Fall Creek Road site
and from 1190 KHz on up, you hear what sounds like a bass drum,
thumping.  I don't notice this behavior going the other way (1270 on
up), except for WNDE's IBOC buzz.  This happens on every radio that I
own but I wouldn't say that is overloading either.

Thank you for the great article! A few weeks ago someone mentioned a
PL-300WT (G8) is not as susceptible to overloading as an Eton E100. Is
this
still true with the PL-310? On a business trip last May to Salt Lake
City,
Utah I noticed the E100 was very prone to severe overloading across the
entire MW spectrum. It made DXing impossible above ~ 900 kHz. Would the
PL-310 be better than an Eton E100 in a high-RF, urban environment such
as
