Re: [IRCA] Grayland Day ONE: comparing to Masset!

Sorry to say, John, but conditions in Masset were VERY interesting with AIR Andaman Islands on 684 at armchair levels, well over // SW on 4760.  It was a weird morning with rapid fades up and down, being replaced totally by stations thousands of km away.  Plenty of Indian activity with 1548 heard well, later DU, Farda very well heard on 1575.  Not sure whether AIR 1566 showed up (unlike yesterday when I heard it very well!).  Sawa very well heard on 1539.  Alaskans were really neat too with Barrow on 680 and Kotzubue (?sp) on 720 dominating for much of the morning.  I'm glad I'll have many hours of great SDR files to play with as I'm sure that I'll hear a lot more neat stuff.  Bangladesh not quite as strong on 693 today.  I suspect I also heard the Indian on 864, but will need to research the clips further.  Have fun down there, fellas!  Wish I could join you, but 4 days of straight TA/TP work is exhausting!  ..........Walt
