Lets hope this is permanent. What I think of IBOC and especially at night
cannot be stated here or I will be banned from the list.
I tried lots to get some CBC FF on 680 but not a trace although western
Canadians are decent.... 1040 CKST at times listenable with BC Lions FB thru
WHO. No AK on 750..maybe traces ..but nothing that was Clark Howard (easy
to differentiate from Savage on WSB earlier) of a couple nights ago.
Gotta love night IBOC...Just gotta love it. 15 minutes ago before I came
in..some C&W mx on 840 as my phaser setting to knock out WSB .also reduces
WHAS. Since Nebraska on 840 doesn't cheat and when they've been on legally
at night for bad weather, they clobber 840 here on antennas towards the
west,,this has to be 100 MileHouse BC, (have had traces years back but after
AB moved to FM//ie not AB) so here I manage about 15 seconds of what would
be my best domestic lifetime catch (OK my Phased BOG System aimed NW
rocks..and it would take about 160 acres of farm land to compete..ie side by
side terminated Bev array) is just quickly overwhelmed by a combo of WCCO
and KOA IBOC.
How did these morons at the FCC allow this crap on AM..it doesn't improve
audio one bit...using a ULR to tune 670 WSCR super local for sports it was
next to impossible to get right on channel while sunning myself out by the
pool and get good analog audio w/out IBOC sideband qrm..etc etc etc.
IBOC is a joke... 73 KAZ
