Re: [IRCA] 990 UNID

I haven't listened much this year but I recall in previous years that 990 Santa Barbara was severe QRM to my semi-local in Pittsburg at sunset. Many was the evening that S.B. forgot to pull the switch at sundown and continued to severely mess with Pittsburg all evening. This may still be happening Pete and explains why they cut thru. Willits is another remote possibility, I think they were talk also the last time I checked (2007 or 2008?).....

That's weird. Except for the recent KTMS STA neither have made any changes that would affect how well they get out in a long time. The reason 1250 gets out so well is like KGO both of their towers are sitting in a salt marsh. You shouldn't hear 990; they have a huge null toward you because they have to protect KATD.

Good catch Pete. 990 & 1250 both used to be easy catches on the coast,
but I have not heard either in a few years.
