[IRCA] TP for 17 Apr from Victoria, BC
Listened from 1250 to 1305UT this morning, and there wasn't anything much in the
way of stronger signals. A number of weaker ones including a Chinese station
rounded things out. Not much in the way of steady signals at all, and for the
first time in awhile, little sign of JOAK-594.
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or
noise):
774 JOUB
828 JOBB at 1302
1566 HLAZ; still in weakly at 1330UT recheck
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
972 HLCA
1053 100Hz hum, still unID
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
612 likely 4QR; DU direction
702 likely 2BL; DU direction
747 JOIB
792 likely 4RN; DU direction
873 seemed //828, so JOGB
1134 seemed //972 so S. Korea
1287 likely JOHR, JJ intonation to talk
1575 VoA?
1593 seemed //5030, so CNR-1
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
738 DU, 1242, 1269, 1512 DU
best wishes,
Nick
