Not a problem Patrick . . . $100 sounds like be a bunch of money.  I
would at least consider a cantenna or the USB adapter on a cable (maybe
on a pole).

I did a quick google search while woofing down my lunchtime slop and

Thanks. Yes, I have even considered a WiFi Yagi ($100), but of course
being directional, it may be toughy to find distant Wifi's, but I may
get something from Seaside or Astoria. But I have thought about it.
