Listened from 1254-1346.  Less than an hour of DXing, but surprised at the number of stations heard.  Conditions seem to be improving with Chinese 

and smaller Japanese stations heard this morning. 



153      RUSSIA, 1258 weak with woman singing. 

180      RUSSIA, 1258 weak with woman in Russian. 

189      RUSSIA, 1257 fair with instrumental music. 

558      JAPAN, 1345 JOCR weak with music. 

567      JAPAN, JOIK 1344 fair with man in Japanese. 

594      JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1344 fair with woman in Japanese. 

603      REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1342   very weak. 

639      CHINA. CRN1 1340 fair with slight splatter and // 4460. 

648      RUSSIA, 1338 very weak, splatter.  VOA listed at this time in Korean. 

657      DPR OF KOREA, 1337 fair with man in Korean, // 3250. 

666     JAPAN, JOBK 1256 fair with man in Japanese. 

774     JAPAN, JOUB 1254 good with English conversation lessons.  Still good at 1333 with no splatter. 

828     JAPAN, JOBB 1301 fair with man in Japanese.  Good at 1302. 

891     UNKNOWN, decent carrier, threshold audio.   Do much domestic splatter.  Japan or Australia likely choices.     

1017     JAPAN, JOLB 1308 weak // 828 with man in Japanese.  

1017     CHINA, 1308 believed to be the station underneath JOLB with woman in Korean, very weak.  

1053     JAPAN? 1328 weak talk with huge carrier covering the weak signal. 

1134     JAPAN or CHINA, 1326 in briefly with weak signal, then covered in domestic splatter. 

1206     CHINA,  1320 fair in ECSS mode with woman in Korean.  No shortwave //'s present. 

1278     JAPAN, JOFR 1318 weak with woman in Japanese. 

1377     CHINA, 1316   weak with woman/man Chinese, // 4460. 

1422     JAPAN, JORF 1315 very weak with bits of Japanese. 

1566     REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1311 good carrier weak audio with woman in Japanese. 

1575     THAILAND, VOA 1314 fair with woman in Asian language.
