[IRCA] TP for 19 Feb from Victoria, BC
Things didn't improve this morning, in fact, as Bill noted, some deterioration,
at least in the period 1410 to 1420UT and for a few minutes around 1450UT
(another quick check at 1520 showed even poorer results).
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):
774 JOUB
reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or
noise):
594 JOAK
747 JOIB at 1418UT
828 JOBB
not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
693 JOAB //774 at 1419UT
972 HLCA 1454UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise:
279 presumed R. Rossii
558 Asian, couldn't tell if JJ or KK
567 w/Asian direction, but not //594; may have been parallel to 585 though, so
some Hokkaido based local programming? (PAL lists 1455UT breakaway, but this was
over 1/2 hour earlier)
612 DU direction at 1421, likely 4QR
1134 S.Korea? seemed //972 at 1455
1035 briefly in with instrumental mx at 1452, didn't seem parallel w/NHK2 or CNR1
1575 at 1449, likely VoA
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 639
seemed DU, 1098DU, 1566
best wishes,
Nick
