Hello Ferrite bar cutters,if you change the length of a ferrite bar with a wire coil antenna connected to a tuner does not the reception of signals alter from a maximum signal strength to a much weaker pull of AM signals? I remember hearing a good radio turn into an almost useless paperweight when the ferrite bar was split about halfway the length.I guess you would have to re-wind another coil of wire onto the new shorter length to make it work.Bill in BC
