Re: [IRCA] [mwc] Help with EWE construction and theory!

Hello Patrick (again!)
I have received a reply from one of our technical guys in the MWC (UK) so I think I will get the wire. I have wound the ferrite ring, have the pot (variable resistor) and 10' poles. No excuse now now for not going ahead hi!

The answer is not at all, the EWE is a very non-critical antenna when it comes to dimensions.

The standard EWE antenna calls for two 10 foot high supports which are 25 feet apart. Looking at my garden set up, the wishes of "her indoors" and useful support for the 10 foot uprights it is the 25 foot apart that is the stumbling block for me! If the uprights were 30-35 feet apart would this adversely affect of the EWE?
