I have a bunch of tape of that 1670 station - the signal banged into Boston, where I was living at the time.
The "KTRK" ID went away after a few days of the tests, when someone realized it was the legal callsign of a TV station in Texas. The next call, for a day or two, was ARMY - until someone realized "AR" isn't part of the US callsign block. I believe the call used for the last few days of testing was ABS.
It was definitely a truck-mounted transmitter (and studio, too!), and I believe it did in fact go on to Bosnia after that.
