[IRCA] SRF-39FP "Prison Radios" Finally Available to Canadians!
Hello All,
After receiving a "Canadian Team" ball cap and T-shirt from Master
Ultralight DXer Rob Ross of London, Ontario, I am going to make sure that "my
team" is well equipped for Ultralight Radio DX!
As most Canadians know, the Florida eBay seller of Prison Radios has
been refusing to ship to Canada, a dastardly misdeed almost deserving of time
in the slammer. Until now, Canadians have had no hope for trying one of these
cool, transparent SRF-59 ancestors, which have an analog tuning thumbwheel
much larger and more convenient than that of the SRF-59 (as well as slightly
better sensitivity and audio quality, for some unknown reason).
Well, if you are a Canadian and want one of these, I do have a few
extra units I can spare in the Awards Program shipment recently received from
Florida.. on a first come, first served basis. The ones that I send to Canada
will be fully aligned for maximum DX power, so if you have interest in one of
these, please contact me ASAP. Thanks!
73, Gary DeBock
