Mike,
The circuit is minimalist.  Two IC's only, one the magic Sony radio in a
chip; the other is audio.  Inductors, other than the ferrite bar antenna,
are bare solenoids of copper wire held in place with a hot glue.  There are
two tunable slug cans.  Don't see any ceramic filters.  It's amazing it
works as well as it does.
