[IRCA] Grayland travels

Good Evening,

Had the radio gear all packed in the car for the trip to Grayland. Gave the motel a call and found out that they are closed until Monday. Told my wife and she said "Lets go anyway." When we got to Grayland we tried another motel and cottage place, but the sign on the door said closed. Drove to Westport about 7 miles down the road. Found a nice cottage right on the water. Took some wire down to the water's edge, tied it to a rock and twirl the rock about 40' into the water. The antenna is about 100' total. Brought along the Kiwa, Space magnet and Twin ferrite antenna. The twin ferrite antenna is about 15' for the waters edge and aimed NW.

Using the JRC 545 and the R-30 cc. We have Wifi here so I can read what you Dxers are receiving.
Good luck tonight and in the coming morning. Will keep you posted on events here.

Dennis,
Westport, WA
