[IRCA] TP's for 10-15-07
Listen from 1212-1430 ut. The best morning here this season. Chinese stations in along with many Japanese and the usual Koreans, Vietnam and Thailand. Did hear two antenna pattern changes this morning. HLAZ at 1344 from Japanese to Chinese program. Signal dropped from Good to weak and back up to fair. Russia 648 also changed patterns 1359 and the signal vanished.
153 Russia, 1353 fair with man in Russian.
189 Russia, 1217 weak with man in Russian and music.
279 Russia, 1352 fair with man in Russian and man singing.
558 Japan, JOCR 1224 weak Japanese talk and music.
594 Japan, JOAK 1355 weal with woman in Japanese.
648 Russia, 1359 fair with program theme music. Antenna pattern
change at 1359.30 and signal gone.
657 PDR Korea, 1305 fair-good with woman in Asian langauge.
666 Japan, JOBK 1406 fair with man in Japanese.
675 Vietnam & China 1409 both in with fair signal. One with Asian
language and other with music. Nice blend of the two stations.
693 Japan, JOAB 1230 weak with man in Japanese and splatter.
747 Japan, JOIB 1253 weak in Japanese and covered with KXL
splatter.
774 Japan, JOUB 1256 fair wtih man in Japanese and some splatter.
828 Japan, JOBB 1259 fair with man in Japanese. 1415 Good with
English lessons.
1008 China, ? 1417 sounds like Chinese sytle program with woman in
Asian language.
1017 Japan, JOLB 1309 weak with man in Japanese // 774 with NHK2.
New.
1098 Unknown 1421 weak Asian audio and what sounded like jammer
type used on 1053.
1206 China, 1320 fair and punching through KEX IBOC hash at times.
Man in Asian langauge. Nothing heard on former // 7120-9610?
1243 China, F/S 1425 weak with woman in Asian langauge.
1278 Japan, JOFR 1327 weak with woman in Japanese.
1323 China, F/S 1425 weak with woman in Asian langauge.
1377 China CRN1 1430 fair with woman in Chinese langauge // 4460.
Man and woman in Western style program.
1422 Japan, JORF 1333 weak with Japanese, fair with music at 1337.
1566 Republic of Korea, 1343 with Japanese and piano music. Antenna
pattern change at 1344. Good signal vanished for about 10
seconds and then weak signal in Chinese? Fair signal at 1347.
1575 Thailand. VOA 1348 fair with man in Asian language.
