Walt,
That is right. You have to have a very low A&K to bring in Barrow. Even
when the A&K gets up to 4 or 5, generally there is no sign of KBRW and
even CHFA is weaker.
Now with an A&K a bit higher, KFQD or even KNOM will show up, but not
KBRW. I have been monitoring 680 now for 25 years looking for sme decent
shot at this station. I was even going to try and make the WNW EWE a
bit more Northerly, but I only had the room to move is another 5 degrees
or so. I am sure if it wasn't for KNBR, I would have nabbed it years ago
with def details.But I guess it pays to be persistent.
