But this pickle wasn't caused by skywave propagation, was it? A small claque 
of BigRadiokasters, who've lost listener trust, caused this by embracing a 
techno-solution for human problems. How very 90s of them. 
 
 Skywave propagation is incidental. HD is about unbridled greed and the 
desire for total control, as enabled by a lackadaisical FCC.
 
  Skywaves are as much a casualty of HD's RF pollution as are listeners.
 
Imagine if RF smog were visible, as are water and air pollution? Wouldn't 
enviro groups love that? A whole new 'revenue stream' awaits.
 
The law of unintended consequences is a law most beautiful.
