No I'm not talking about a Beatles album from the 60s, and I'm not
comparing IBOC vs non-IBOC reception. I'm just getting caught up on TP
loggings.
Yesterday morning's recording session was quite good. I once again
recorded 1405-1595 and heard excellent audio from HLAZ-1566, sometimes
stronger than 1560/1570. Also good audio from 1575 at times, though it
went up and down. Carriers were noted on 1422 1467 1475 and 1476, most
peaking about 5 db or less above the noise, though 1467 was sometimes
stronger. There was no hope for audio on 1467 thanks to 1460 & 1470
splatter. All this between 1230-1310 UT
Today, I scanned the whole band rather quickly around 1320-1340 and
found all sorts of stuff:
Audio noted on 774/747 Japan, 963 China, 972 Korea, 1566 Korea, 1575 VOA
Cariers &/or hets on 1467 1475 1422 1323 1287 1278 1206 1242 657 828 837
846 855 864 981.
I didn't notice much hash except on 1206 (from KEX?), while trying to
coax audio out of what I assume was Yanbian People's Broadcasting Station.
