[IRCA] DX Update From (Muggy) Northern DE
DX update from northern Delaware:
Tuned in the Red Sox game on WTIC on the portable last night and heard
college football underneath. After switching to the Drake and phase
nulling:
6-Sept-07 // 2308 local // 1080 khz. // WHOO // 19 kw day, 0.19 kw night //
Kissammee, FL // College football game between the Cincinnati Bearcats and
the Oregon State Beavers with occasional actual call letter IDs including
"Sports Radio AM 1080, WHOO, Orlando's ESPN". // New. Presumably using the
'big rig' (as someone on this listserver once cleverly posted). Signal was
quite loud at times. An 851 mile catch with WTIC phase nulled.
