Although it was a better DU morning than yesterday there was still
quite a lot of Asiatic signals for the few minutes around 1315UT when
I could listen, but signal strengths were down on yesterday
Reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash) 594, 774
Not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise:
576, 702 DU, 747, 828 DU
Burbles in the splatter: 279, 612DU, 738DU, 765DU, 801 (definitely
Asian per the loop), 855 (hum), 963, 972, 1008 DU, 1287, 1377, 1503 DU, 1566
strong carrier, no audio on 639
Checking over the last SDR14 recordings yielded brief DU audio on
1512 and 1548 just after 1330UT. 1512 must have good modulation, as
it doesn't take much carrier to develop audio compared with 1503 for
example, and there is the disadvantage of big signals on 1510 and 1520 as well.
The propagation monitor said there was a really nice peak on 612 at
1324, so it must have built quickly after I raced off to the real world.
best wishes,
Nick
