[IRCA] Re; CJDC 890

On good winter nights it is possible to get 890 Dawson Creek right here in Vic BC with my Grundig Multiband portable without even nulling CKMO 900.Even the GE SR 1 can't match that.It has better pulling power but the selectivity is not as good as the German rig.the difference is so great that I don'tr use the GE anymore for dxing.Any Euro radio will outperform any American or Jap rig because AM or MW is still important listening for the continental population.And also stations put out up to 10 times the wattage so receivers have to be good to prevent overlap and distortion.----Bill in BC
