Yes indeed, QSLing was something else back when. I remember QSLs I
received in 4 or 5 days from the South 48 when DXing in Seward AK. If
the airmail letter hit the plane right, you could get a reply in a week
or less. Ah, the good ol' days.
   Even back in the Summer on 1979, I had just moved back to the coast
and I went to the Seaside PO and opened up my box and there were 7 QSLs
in one day. 4 were from Australia and 3 from New Zealand, including a
beautiful card from 2GB-873-Sydney. It has a gold sunset with 2 G B in
bold letters in the sunset. Those were really the "hey day" of QSLs.

Is your KFQD 730 card the long one. I probably have the same one. I
re-QSL'd KFQD years later after they moved to 750 too.
