NOW I understand. The reference to Ashland confused me. I know of no
Ashland in NC, and I thought you'd caught me in error on my report
of the Hampstead, NC station.

Now that you are on the subject, OK: Perhaps some other DXer has
positively IDed this 1620 transmitter as being the Ashland one.

I'll go along with that if that be the case.

But please explain your reasoning.

I know you're busy, so I'll take a very brief "defense" of your
dissertation!
