[IRCA] CFB (Compact Florescent Bulbs)

Guys,

I kinda hope this CFB thread goes away. It's so tiresome to read and read
and reread back and forth sparring that gradually gets away from MW DX
and turns toward politics and philosophy.

Let it be said that I would be a Rush Limbaugh listener, but I tire of
hearing talk radio. I agree with Rush enough that I don't need to listen
to his program.

In fact, I am more a Libertarian of the style of Neil Boorz.

Just so you know where I'm coming from.

I am reasonably satisfied that CFBs don't emit enough RFI for me to
worry about.

Also, I believe that conservation is the best policy, and that CFBs work
in that direction very well.

But that mercury is a dangerous substance and I don't want to ingest any.

And that in an excess of enthusiasm we're forgetting that CFBs will have
to be disposed, and scant attention is being paid to that issue.

And I hope we can now start getting back to our RXs and try to dig out
that illusive station. I think it's called DXing.
