1. Per earlier post re Rhode Islanders & former Narragansett Electric Co., 
CFB program entirely voluntary. Company intent: promote CFBs & juice-saving 
w/free samples.  Entirely benign & beneficial to homeowners. Very kind of them, 
actually, to test for & seal air leaks. Fellow who arrived most interested by 
radio room, R-390s, -388s, etc. and STDBY B+ kill switches - an early 'energy 
saver'.
 
2. This morning's _www.drudgereport.com_ (http://www.drudgereport.com)  links 
to article re NYC Mayor Bloomberg launching  'Frontal Assault on Global 
Warming'. Will Hizzoner use tanks? Nope. He wants to ban incandescents & mandate 
CFB's. He wants us to save money. How very nice.
 
Many may recall the very nice changes he inflicted upon WNEW format.
 
 'Dr.' castro's 'advisers' were prowling about Jamaica recently, handing CFBs 
to locals as well. Great minds......
