*** My understanding is that a BOG of length 'x' roughly equates in
performance to an elevated Beverage of '3x'. IN practics at the L;ong
Beach Island DXpeditions, we've had best results with BOG's in the
range of 500-800', which generally tend to yield a fairly good
directivity. I believe there are some illustrations on our group's
