I understand what an A 27 does for me, but should I get excited when K goes 
down, too?

I didn't know that the Sun emits "As" and "Ks." Always thought it emits 
photons and neutrons and all such atomic rot. Always thought "A" stood for 
Aspirin, and "B" stood for Bufferin.
