That last e-mail was destined for Patrick Martin alone.

But I doubt that any Canadians will take offence to me standing up for 
Canada. We are blessed with a peaceful northern neighbor.

The pity is that Canada is, in essence, an archipelago on the US's north.

Mexico is a different matter. My great fear of an insecure border with 
Mexico is not the number of "indocumentados" who
cross the unsecured border. My fear is that terrorists will use that 
unsecured border against us.

Horrors.
